Sexual Harassment Prevention & Awareness
This session is designed to help participants to develop awareness of behaviors that could potentially violate the University's Sexual Harassment Statute in both the workplace and classroom. Participants should learn:
- The definition of sexual harassment
- The effect of sexual harassment on the victim
- The state and federal requirements for compliance with the law
- The University's Discrimination Complaint Process
Proactive techniques to prevent to sexual harassment.
Planning a More Effective Search Process
This module offers instructions in the use of the OEO Hiring Plan forms. It is designed to assist users in preparing and implementing unit plans in a more efficient and effective way to enhance the success of the search process. In this session, members of search committees explore ways to make the maximum use of limited recruitment budgets while using affirmative action and equal opportunity techniques. Participants will learn ways to enhance their position postings, interview process and documentation procedures. This module is offered as customized training only.
